It's been a hard week for me and so I'm looking forward to unloading my brain.
*I finally, finally got my flowers planted in my flower bed. I had Zoey clean out all the weeds that had grown during the winter, and then I put in some new soil, and away we went. This is a major accomplishment because I do not have a green thumb. Hopefully, the flowers will all grow now. I still have to do my big pots. I am not a gardener. Yuck.
*I have not been to the movies in so long, that I am having serious withdrawals. I expect that to be fixed this weekend when I will be going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3. I will put in a plug again for Music and Lyrics again, because it is so cute, so funny, and so clean. I really love this movie.
*It is the week before recital and I have been spending a lot of time down at the studio working. It is time for people to come in and register for next year. I have to be there every day from 3:30-6:30. It doesn't seem like that much time, but that is like the prime time for me to get ready for the evening. Bummer. Only one more week of that.
*I have been working on doing thank you's for my carpool drivers. I think I'm going to make dinner for them, and I'm going to use the recipe that Nikki gave to me. It is soooo good and it is so easy to make, and freezable. So I have been making one or two a day, so that I can get have them all done by next week. Good for me!
*I have been really working at getting caught up in my reading. I have about 10 books waiting for me to read. Ugh. I wish I had about 5 days to just sit and read. I just finished reading "Their Eyes Were Watching God." It is one of the most interesting books that I have read in awhile. The dialect is fascinating, but somewhat hard to read. The story is great. I really enjoyed that.
*Is anyone else freaking out about the fact that SUMMER is almost here? Where did the first half of the year go to? And who keeps turning the clock faster? What is up with that
*AJ will graduate in 7 days.
*I still need to send out announcements.
*My birthday is in 3 weeks. Terry has a big surprise planned. I can hardly wait to find out what it is! He is great at his surprises.
Okay. That is all for today. Now it is back to the grind. Until tomorrow, Susan
